Orange Clogs and Sombreros

With the cold and grey weather that we have had this winter, it has been easy to take things (myself included!) a little too seriously. In search of warmer weather, fun and a little bit of irreverence, I headed to Los Angeles. My friend and fellow yoga teacher, David Romanelli and I were getting together to teach a Yoga & Wine workshop and I had the opportunity to explore the city from David’s particularly fun and irreverent perspective.
My trip started out well as a friend of David’s was able to get a group of us reservations at Mario Batali’s newly opened Osteria Mozza. For those of you who aren’t familiar with Mario Batali, he is the orange-clog wearing, restaurant guru of Iron Chef fame. I was excited to have the opportunity to taste his food in person.
